SOLDAwarded European Yacht of the Year on its debut, the Rob Humphries-designed Elan 340 blends true race-yacht performance with family cruising comfort in a thoroughly modern and stylish design.
With just two experienced owners, this NZ-new example has been carefully maintained and presents very well. Fitted with the 2.1m performance keel, taller fractional Selden rig and full-size Carbonautica carbon wheel, the Elan 340 is a proven and rewarding IRC performer while meeting family requirements for comfortable coastal cruising. Importantly, at 9.99m LOA, the Elan 340 will fit a 10m berth.
Below deck, the Elan 340 is modern, bright and airy with 2 double cabins, full size chart table, aft galley and a large head and shower with dedicated wet hanging locker. A saloon infill squab creates an additional double berth.
The yacht is powered with a low-hour Volvo D1-30 on sail drive and equipped with Raymarine instruments that include a C70 plotter, ST60 depth, speed, wind instruments and a ST7000 pilot fitted to the quadrant.
Constructed using vacuum infused technology for superior strength and rigidity, notable design features include recessed deck hatches and a removable cabin top moulding covering all aft-led halyards and lines.
Deck hardware includes Selden prod and pole for the masthead spinnaker and gennaker, Selden S200 furler, Selden vang, Harken self-tailing winches, new main, headsail and spinnaker halyards and dye-form standing rigging.
The wardrobe includes a lightly used 2007 Norths Dacron main; 2012 Doyles Stratis main, 2017 #2 furler, Norths masthead gennaker and Doyles masthead spinnaker. Fitted with a brand-new dodger, wheel cover and a recent stack pack with lazy jacks; recent engine service and antifoul, this yacht is turn-key and ready for immediate enjoyment.
